How our 3D design process works
Most homeowners are asked to picture a patio from a flat drawing and a few photos. We do it differently. You get to walk through the real thing first.

We measure the property
We come out to your home and take full measurements and photos. Not just the work area. The whole property, so everything lines up the way it does in real life.

We build your property in 3D
Using Realtime Landscaping Architect, we rebuild your property to scale. That includes the fine details like windows, doors, and the lines of the house. Scale is what makes a design honest, so we do not guess at it.

We design the project inside the model
Patios, walkways, retaining walls, plantings, lighting, and drainage all get placed in the model. You see how the design sits against your actual home, not a stock rendering.

We bring it back and sit down with you
We make a copy of the design and go through it with you in person. Change the shape, the material, the size, the plant beds. We keep working on it together until you are happy with it.

Then we build it
Work starts once you approve the design. No surprises at the end, because you already know what the finished yard looks like.

A patio looks one way in July and another way in January. Inside the model we can set the time of day and the time of year, so you can see your project in morning light, at dusk with the lighting on, and through all four seasons before you commit to it.

Slopes, steps, and elevation changes are modeled the way they sit on the property, which matters for patios, walls, and drainage.
Real materials
Pavers, flagstone, wall block, and plantings are swapped in the model so you can compare options side by side.
